# The 10 Best Medical Practice Website Templates 2026
A practice website has two jobs, getting found and turning a visit into an appointment. We compared ten ways to get there for therapy, medical and dental practices, each with its price over three years, the duties under Germany's Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the question of who owns the site in the end.

Most people no longer find a practice by phone. They search on Google, and they decide within a few seconds. They want to know three things. Do you treat what I have? Can I get to you? And how do I get an appointment?

Everything else on a practice website is extra. This list rates ten options by how quickly they answer those three questions, what they cost over three years and what belongs to you at the end.

## What we looked at

**The price over three years, not per month.**A €50 subscription sounds cheap next to a €4,000 agency fee. After three years it is €1,800, after five it is €3,000, and the website still is not yours.**Booking as a component you can swap.**Doctolib, jameda, samedi and Dr. Flex cost between €39 and €475 a month, depending on the plan and the number of practitioners. That can be worth it. It just should not decide the whole website for you.**Cost and fear of the call, answered.**In dentistry especially, patients compare practices by their own share of the cost, and many read in the evening whether anything will happen at the first visit that they do not want. A page that answers both openly takes half the work off the phone.**Accessibility built in from the start.**Contrast, keyboard operation, alt text and forms that can be read aloud are hard to retrofit. A template that brings them from day one saves you that round.**Who owns the code.**This is the question that seems unimportant at the start and gets asked after three years, when the provider raises prices or discontinues the product.

## 1. Bendrath, for therapy and counseling practices**This is our own product, which is why it comes first along with the next three. Judge for yourself.**Nineteen finished pages for therapy and counseling practices. Services with their own detail pages, a profile for each practitioner, a blog with five posts on real search questions, a contact page with a map that loads only after a click, and a careers page. The legal notice and privacy policy come as empty frameworks with instructions, deliberately without prewritten legal text.

The difference from an ordinary template lies in what is written down for the AI. The package contains the design rules, the tone of voice and the structure as readable files. If you need a new service page, you describe it in one sentence in the chat, and it is built in the existing style instead of next to it.**Price:**€99 once, including VAT. Plus hosting of your choice, usually around five euros a month.**Strength:**Pay once, get the complete code, and keep it out of reach of any provider who could change the terms. Built as a static site, so it is fast and needs no updates. The rules in the package forbid promises of cures and results, and your AI follows them as it writes.**Weakness:**You need a code editor and an AI tool such as Claude Code, and you have to put in the content yourself. If you would rather not, a subscription or an agency suits you better. Online booking is not built in, it gets connected.

## 2. Hellwerth, for dental practices that name prices and take anxiety seriously

Hellwerth is built for a dental practice that states the price before anyone asks. Thirteen pages in practice blue and midnight blue. The home page opens with an interactive tooth chart, services with starting prices and a section that clears up common myths. The pricing page lists 24 items with a cost calculator that works out the patient’s share after the fixed subsidy from German statutory insurance (Festzuschuss), and with a bonus booklet the 75 instead of 60 percent. The implant page shows a cross-section you can click, the prevention page a self-test for the right interval. A separate page for people with dental anxiety plans three visits, the first two without any treatment.**Strength:**Cost and fear, the two topics most practices avoid, carry the whole site. The starting prices are written into the HTML at build time and can be read without JavaScript. Fonts and images are hosted locally, and the map loads only after consent.**Weakness:**The contact form validates input but does not send anything yet, so it needs a recipient before launch. Online booking with a calendar is not built in. The practice, team, prices and sample cases are invented, and the photos show models.**For whom:**Owner-run dental practices with two to four dentists, especially those focused on anxious patients, implantology or prevention.

## 3. Dentara, for practices that explain rather than advertise

Dentara is built for dental practices, orthodontics and family practices. Eighteen pages in aqua and deep sea, and eight charts drawn from data rather than placed as images. The services overview maps each treatment onto a tooth chart, the prevention page draws a curve with and without regular cleaning, and the implantology page compares implant, bridge and denture as cost bars. Add to that an interactive tooth shade guide from A1 to C4, an anxiety scale from zero to ten with an answer for each level, age groups for children, a drawn floor plan of the practice and four finished guide articles.**Strength:**Patients see why a treatment makes sense, not only that it exists. Opening hours, address and phone number live in one file, and the footer, booking page and structured data update on their own. Every heading and every number can be read without JavaScript.**Weakness:**The tooth chart and shade guide are specific to dentistry. Another healthcare practice has to feed them different data or remove them. The appointment form and reminder do not send anything yet, and if you expect online booking with a calendar, you have to connect it. The practice, names, testimonials and figures are invented.**For whom:**Family, cosmetic and orthodontic practices that win patients by explaining.

## 4. Lindvelt, for practices that are also hiring

Lindvelt is built for a practice that has to win patients and skilled staff at the same time. Twenty-two pages in pistachio and leaf green. The careers page carries three complete job openings with tasks, requirements and how to apply, each with structured data that Google’s job search can read, and a strip in the footer of every page names the open positions. For patients there is a tooth chart to tap, six service pages with a profile and side-by-side comparison, a board showing what statutory insurance covers, a first visit as a timeline with a checklist and price bars, an appointment request with a progress bar and a drawn site map.**Strength:**No other template in this list treats hiring as part of the website, and for many practices a dental assistant (ZFA) is as hard to find as a new patient. A new opening is one entry in one file, and the careers page, footer strip, home page and job data follow. There are deliberately no invented star ratings.**Weakness:**Twenty-two pages is a lot for a solo practice. The forms need a sending service before launch. The practice and team are invented.**For whom:**Owner-run dental practices with one location that are looking for dental assistants, hygienists or trainees.

All four are in the [Health category](https://ai-website.com/templates/health) of the marketplace, with a comparison table and the questions that come up before buying. ## 5. A practice website on subscription, including jameda

Providers such as praxis-webseiten.com sell finished practice websites in Germany from around €50 a month, often with no setup fee and with ongoing support. Packages with appointment booking cost about €70. jameda offers website packages from about €49 a month, tied to its own review portal and booking.**Strength:**You do not need any skills. Content gets entered for you, updates run in the background, and when something goes wrong there is someone to call. With jameda, reviews, profile and website all run through the same provider, and the portal brings its own visitors.**Weakness:**The payments never end, and the website belongs to the provider. Switching usually means a rebuild. Over three years it adds up to about €1,800, over five to €3,000. With jameda you also get tight coupling to a review portal whose rules you do not set.

## 6. Website with Doctolib integration

In many specialties in Germany, Doctolib is the standard for scheduling, and several service providers build the website to match. Booking costs €139 to €475 a month depending on the plan and is billed per practitioner, and for therapy practices it is €119 to €139.**Strength:**Patients know the interface, which noticeably lowers the barrier. Visibility in the Doctolib directory comes on top.**Weakness:**The most expensive option in this list and the one with the strongest lock-in. Over three years, booking alone comes to €5,000 and more. Check beforehand how many appointments really come in online.

## 7. Builder template from Wix or Squarespace

Wix has ready-made templates for practices and clinics, with Wix Bookings for appointments, starting at around €11 a month. Squarespace offers the cleanest designed builder templates, from €12 a month when billed annually, and appointments run through Acuity, which costs extra.**Strength:**In one afternoon you have something presentable, with no technical requirements at all. Squarespace looks calm and professional without any design work of your own.**Weakness:**The site stays on the platform, and export is limited to content. The templates look alike, and whatever the template does not allow stays out of reach. For accessibility, you have to check yourself what the template brings.

## 8. TYPO3 template for practices

Providers such as toujou sell finished TYPO3 websites for medical practices. TYPO3 is widespread in German healthcare, especially at larger institutions.**Strength:**A full content management system with permissions, approvals and several editors. Sensible from a certain size upward.**Weakness:**For a practice with five pages, that is a truck for the weekly groceries. Maintenance and updates need someone who knows TYPO3.

## 9. Marketplace template, WordPress or HTML

On ThemeForest, TemplateMonster and similar marketplaces there are hundreds of medical and dental templates for €40 to €90, as a WordPress theme or as plain HTML. Sellers such as formularbox sell individual HTML templates with German-language instructions.**Strength:**A one-time payment and a huge selection. With WordPress there is a plugin for every function, and many service providers know their way around it.**Weakness:**A WordPress theme is a permanent maintenance job. Every plugin is an update to manage and a possible security hole, and on a practice website health data depends on it. An HTML template is often just a single page with older code, and if you grow with it, you build the second and third page by hand.

## 10. Agency, custom build

An agency builds a website that does not exist yet, tailored to your practice. For a solid site, €4,000 to €15,000 is typical.**Strength:**Everything is possible, and you do not have to take care of anything. For a practice group with several locations, this is often the right way.**Weakness:** The price, the timeline and the question of what happens afterward. Every later change is a new job, and if you do not read the contract, you end up owning less than you think.

## The pattern behind the list

The ten options differ less in the result than in the direction they tie you to. A subscription is convenient and never ends. An agency is thorough and expensive. A template is affordable and leaves the work with you.

For most practices, the decision comes down to two questions. Do you want someone to call when something gets stuck? Then take the subscription or the agency and calculate the price over five years, not over one month. Do you want to own the site and change it yourself? Then take a template that comes with its rules written down, and let your AI keep building on it. If you would rather not do that yourself, have it [built by us](https://ai-website.com/service).

In both cases, opening hours, directions and the path to an appointment belong on the home page, not three clicks deeper. More practice websites fail on that than on the choice of system.

## Frequently asked questions
What does a practice website really cost in 2026? The range is wide, and the monthly price is misleading. A website subscription for practices starts at around €50 a month, which is €1,800 over three years and it never ends. Booking through Doctolib costs €139 to €475 a month depending on the plan and is billed per practitioner. A finished template costs around €100 once, plus hosting at about €5 a month. The real difference is less the price than whether the payments ever stop.

Does a practice website have to be accessible? Germany's Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) has applied since June 2025 and mainly covers services in electronic commerce, such as online appointment booking. Microenterprises are exempt for services. Whatever the legal position, the requirements are exactly what helps a practice website anyway, meaning sufficient contrast, operation without a mouse, alt text on images and forms a screen reader can read aloud. For your own case, a review by a lawyer is the right step, and this article does not replace it.

Do I need online appointment booking? If a noticeable share of your calls are purely about scheduling, it pays for itself quickly. If you give out few, long appointments, a form with a callback is often enough. What matters is that booking does not dictate the website. It is a component you can swap, and it is no reason to tie your whole presence to one provider.

Which template suits a dental practice? That depends on how your practice wins patients. If you name prices up front and see many anxious patients, Hellwerth is the right fit, with a cost calculator and a separate page for a first visit with no treatment. If you prefer explaining to advertising, take Dentara with eight charts drawn from data. If you are also hiring, take Lindvelt with a careers page whose openings Google's job search can read.

What does a practice website need at a minimum? A home page with specialty and location, one page per service, opening hours, directions with parking and the nearest stop, the team with real photos, a visible path to an appointment, plus the legal notice and privacy policy required in Germany and the EU. Doctors in Germany also add the details their professional code requires, such as the medical chamber, the professional title and the country that granted it.

Why are your own templates in this list? Because we built four of them and we are open about it. They come first because they give the clearest answer to the question this article asks, a single payment and the complete code. What they cannot do is listed with each one. The other six options are meant seriously, and for some practices one of them is the better choice.
