# 7 Best Vacation Rental Website Templates 2026 (Cabins and Glamping)
Guests book a remote cabin or a tent under the stars once they know when it is open, what the stay costs in full and how they get there. We compared seven templates on whether they answer that before the first enquiry, what they cost over three years and who owns the website afterwards.

Nobody books a remote cabin on a whim. Before guests send an enquiry, they want three answers. Is it open when we can travel, what does it really cost with cleaning and local tax, and how do we get there. A page with a jetty at sunset and the word idyllic answers none of them.

We build websites for holiday cabins, glamping sites and small tour operators. So this list is not a collection of pretty previews. It rates each template on how well it answers those questions before the first enquiry.

## What we looked for

Four criteria, in this order:

- **Does it answer season, price and arrival?**Opening months, minimum stay, a full price with every extra and the last kilometres to the door belong on the page, not in the reply to an email.

-**Does it bring direct enquiries?**Every booking that comes through your own site instead of a portal keeps the commission with you. The enquiry should arrive with dates, place and party size, so you can answer at once.

-**What does it cost over three years?**A $17 monthly plan adds up to more than $600 in three years. That belongs next to every one-time price.

-**Who owns the result?**Can you move if the vendor raises prices or changes the plan your booking pages live on?

## 1. Lauschgrat, for remote cabins and retreats**This is our own product, which is why it comes first. Judge for yourself.**Lauschgrat is built for hosts with several remote cabins or holiday homes whose guests come for the quiet. Twenty-four pages with six places, each on its own page with height, guests, price, minimum stay, nearest station and local tax. Every place carries a night value in decibels and a curve over 24 hours, and a comparison sets all places side by side at the same hour. A price calculator handles nights, guests, high season, travelling alone and a dog, and the enquiry arrives filled in from it. It comes as a project folder you open in an AI tool like Claude Code and adapt to your places by chat.**Strong:**It answers the question no portal can, how quiet the night is there, and it says honestly which values are measured and which are estimated. Arrival by train with pick-up times stands on every place page.**Weak:**Every booking starts as an enquiry. For a live calendar and payment on the page you connect a booking system. You also spend a moment in the terminal, two commands.**Best for:**Hosts with several cabins, chalets or holiday homes in quiet places, in one region or across several countries.

## 2. Funkenmoos, for glamping and small tour operators

Also ours. Funkenmoos is built for glamping hosts with several seasonal camps. Twenty-one pages with four camps, each with season, tents and price, a comparison of bell tent, family tent and lodge, a season bar across the year and a drawn map with travel times. Its centrepiece is a Night Window that works out real darkness, moonlight and the night temperature for every camp and night in the browser. Trips with a week in the wild sit next to single nights, with their own booking conditions.**Strong:**Guests see before they book how dark and how cold their nights will be, and the coldest night turns into a packing list. Single nights and package trips stand cleanly apart.**Weak:**Built around tents and camps. For classic holiday homes Lauschgrat fits better, and large campsites that sell pitches with live availability need a booking system on top.**Best for:**Glamping sites, wilderness camps and small tour operators selling nights and trips side by side.

Both sit in the [tourism category](https://ai-website.com/templates/tourism) of the marketplace, with a comparison table and the questions that come up before buying. Hotels with rooms, a restaurant and a golf course find their templates in the [golf category](https://ai-website.com/templates/golf).

## 3. Lodgify templates

Lodgify is rental software with a website builder on top. The templates come with a booking engine, payments and calendar sync with the big portals.**Strong:**Booking, calendar and channel manager in one tool, no terminal, quick to set up.**Weak:**A monthly plan for as long as you rent, from around $16 a month on yearly billing and more on monthly billing, and depending on the plan a fee per booking can apply. The website stays inside Lodgify, and the templates look alike across many hosts.**Best for:**Hosts who want booking software first and treat the website as part of it.

## 4. Wix vacation rental templates

Wix has templates for vacation rentals, apartments and hostels, some with a booking app for rooms.**Strong:**Fast start, a large gallery, the easiest editor on this list.**Weak:**From $17 a month, for as long as the site exists, and you cannot take the website with you. Season, price rules and arrival are layout with no structure behind them.**Best for:**Anyone who wants to be online today and can live with the subscription.

## 5. Webflow glamping and rental templates

Webflow and third-party sellers offer templates for glamping, retreats and rentals, some with a CMS for places and articles. It is the most flexible platform on this list in terms of design.**Strong:**Clean design, good animation, a CMS for places and notes.**Weak:**The template plus a monthly site plan, and a learning curve that tends to call for an agency. Booking needs an outside tool, and the website stays in Webflow.**Best for:**Hosts who work with a Webflow designer.

## 6. Framer retreat templates

Framer’s marketplace has a handful of retreat and glamping templates built around large photos and smooth scrolling.**Strong:**Very visual, quick to publish, a good fit for one special place.**Weak:**From $10 a month per site on yearly billing, and every further site costs again. Few templates carry season, price rules or several places, so most of the structure is yours to build.**Best for:**A single retreat or cabin that sells through its pictures.

## 7. WordPress rental themes

ThemeForest lists dozens of vacation rental themes, such as WP Rentals, with booking plugins, calendar sync and many demo home pages.**Strong:**One-time price, a huge choice, and every host knows WordPress.**Weak:**Theme, plugins and booking add-ons all need updates, and the demos are built as portals for many listings rather than for your own few places. A theme is a starting point, rarely finished.**Best for:** Anyone already running WordPress who does not mind the upkeep.

## How the three routes differ

Rental software is fastest when the calendar matters most and costs every month for as long as you rent. A website builder or a WordPress theme gets you online but leaves season, prices and arrival as free text. A template with its own code costs once, belongs to you and grows by one page with every new place, without you designing it.

For a cabin or a camp, what counts in the end is whether the website answers the guest before they write. When is it open, what does it cost, how do we get there, and what is it like at night. The two templates above are built for exactly that. If you would rather not adapt one yourself, [we can do it for you](https://ai-website.com/service).

## Frequently asked questions
How much does a vacation rental website cost in 2026? A finished template costs €99 once. A website builder runs from about $120 to $250 a year for as long as the site exists, and rental software with a booking engine costs more again, depending on the plan with a fee per booking. An agency build with several properties usually lands between $3,000 and $10,000. Add domain and hosting at roughly $30 to $80 a year.

Do I need a booking calendar on my own website? Not to start. Many small hosts take direct enquiries on their own site and keep the calendar where it already lives, in a channel manager or on the portals. Lauschgrat and Funkenmoos work that way, every booking starts as an enquiry with dates and party size filled in. If you need live availability and payment on the page, connect a booking system to the template or choose rental software such as Lodgify.

What does a holiday home website need at minimum? Every place with its own page, photos, sleeping places and minimum stay, the season, a full price with cleaning and local tax, the way there with and without a car, house rules, a clear enquiry, and your legal pages. Short notes on the questions guests ask, such as arriving by train or bringing a dog, bring them in through search.

Does this also work for a single holiday flat? Yes. Ask your AI to cut the template down to one place. The pages for the place, the price calculator and the enquiry stay, the comparison between several places drops out. Both templates are built for several places, so you have room to grow.
