## FAQ

**How does the speeding fine check work?**

It sits on the traffic law page. You choose built-up area or open road, the speed limit from 30 to 120 km/h and the measured speed on a slider, plus a box for a repeat offence within twelve months. After every input it shows how far over the limit the driver was, with the calculation, the fine, points, driving ban, the level in the fine catalogue on a bar with ten fields, an assessment and a button for the next step. It starts at 78 km/h in a built-up area, so 25 km/h too fast, €115 and one point.

**Where do the values in the fine check come from?**

From the German fine catalogue for cars in the version in force since 9 November 2021, negligent, without previous entries and without fees and expenses, checked against the state of October 2026. The tolerance of fixed devices is deducted, 3 km/h up to 100 km/h and 3 percent above that. All twenty standard rates live in src/data/bussgeld.ts, the sentences in src/data/texte.ts. If the catalogue changes, your AI enters the new values there, and the table and the check follow by themselves.

**Does the check promise an outcome?**

No. It shows the standard rate and says right above it that only the file shows whether the measurement is correct. The assessments stay careful, for example that an objection to a caution is rarely worth it. The testimonials on the home page are marked as examples, and below them it says that earlier results promise nothing for future ones.

**What does the fine check show without JavaScript?**

The full table of all standard rates in built-up areas and on open roads with the fine, points and driving ban. With scripts it is collapsed and can be opened below the check. The same goes for blood alcohol and points, without scripts every level is shown as a list.

**How is the emergency line built in?**

The emergency number appears in the header, on a tab at the right edge, in the menu, in the footer, in the cookie banner and in the closing band of every page. The week band on the home page and the panel on the contact page work out in Berlin time whether the office is staffed right now as well. Without scripts a fixed sentence is shown there. The emergency page guides through four situations and the first 48 hours after an arrest.

**Does Ebsing fit without an emergency line around the clock?**

Yes. Your AI removes the second number or sets the times when you are really reachable, and the week band shows them that way. The sentences about a call back within an hour appear in several places and are adjusted too. Only write what you can keep to.

**How is Ebsing different from Nordhelm?**

Both are meant for criminal defence with emergency availability. Nordhelm carries a firm with eight areas of law and five lawyer profiles. Ebsing is a sole practice where the lawyer speaks in the first person, with criminal and traffic law at the centre, the fine check, an investigation file to leaf through and framed black and white photos under navy panels.

**Has the template been checked against professional rules?**

The texts are written against section 43b of the German Federal Lawyers’ Act and section 6 of the professional code for lawyers. They advertise factually, name no success rate and do not promise that a case will be dropped. Testimonials are marked as examples and may only be replaced with consent and a release from confidentiality. You still have to check the finished site yourself, these notes are not legal advice.

**Are the legal statements on the pages correct?**

They have been checked against the state of October 2026, with sections of the law, for example on deadlines, limitation periods, blood alcohol limits, points and custody cases. Every article names its date and the state of the law. The law changes, and before going live you read everything as a lawyer. The pages are general information, not advice on an individual case.

**How do I enter prices and fees?**

The prices live in src/data/kanzlei.ts, each with VAT and the net amount, as German price rules require for consumers. The first consultation also appears on the home page, in the closing band and in the questions on the contact page, the hourly rate in the fee calculator. Your AI updates them all. The sample invoice for fine proceedings follows the statutory fees under the RVG since June 2025.

**Can people book an appointment directly on the site?**

No, there is no booking software built in. The buttons lead to the contact form or dial the number directly. If you use an appointment calendar, have your AI put its link on the buttons and add it to the privacy policy and the consent banner.

**What happens to an enquiry through the form?**

The form checks name, phone, message and the confirmation of the privacy notice, and an optional email for a valid domain, marks errors right at the field and then shows a confirmation, nothing is sent yet. It says that nobody has to describe the allegation here. Whatever comes in through the form falls under legal professional privilege, so the sending your AI sets up has to match that.

**Are the name, address and testimonials real?**

No. Jasper Ebsing, Mareike Hensen, the practice, prices, key figures, memberships and testimonials are invented, which the footer of every page and the note below the testimonials say. The street Am Nadelwerk does not exist, and both numbers come from the blocks the German Federal Network Agency keeps free for media. Aachen, the courts of the region and the border area are a real location.

**Who is in the photos?**

A model in a tweed jacket in sample photos from Pexels. The licence allows commercial use, but there is no model release. The legal notice says that the person shown is not Jasper Ebsing. Before going live, put in your own portraits, taken with your consent.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 24 photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially, all of them are set in black and white. src/data/bildnachweis.json names the photographer of every image, and the legal notice lists the credits. The sign, court map, courtroom, directions, border map and investigation file are the template’s own drawings.

**Are legal notice and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as pre-written legal texts, and marked noindex and left out of the sitemap until they are filled in. The legal notice lists the details a law firm must give, with the bar association, professional title, professional rules and liability insurance, and below them the photo credits. The privacy page describes what the website does technically. These notes are not legal advice.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Gilda Display and Mulish live in public/fonts/, the photos in the project, and the maps and directions are drawn. The browser runs the site’s own JavaScript without a library. The cookie banner writes the choice to the dataLayer, and statistics and external media are not connected to any service.

**Are search engines and share images prepared?**

Yes. Every page has its own title and description, plus a LegalService and Attorney schema with person, address, availability and services. The pages add Service, OfferCatalog, FAQPage, HowTo, Article, BreadcrumbList and ContactPage. Astro builds the 1200 by 630 pixel share images at build time from a photo of each page.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading and every text is there without scripts. Tabs stand one below the other, questions are expanded, the fine check shows its table, the signpost for police summonses shows every answer, and the phone menu opens as well. The check, calculators, filters and live status need JavaScript.

**How does the template address visitors?**

Visitors are addressed formally, and the lawyer speaks in the first person. The content lives in src/data/, the sentences of the components and scripts in src/data/texte.ts. For a firm with several lawyers, your AI switches to we.

**Does this work for other areas of law too?**

The structure does. Area pages, emergency, fees, process and guides carry any firm whose clients search under time pressure, for example in immigration law. The fine check belongs to traffic law. For another area, your AI turns it into a tool of its own or removes it.

**Where can I host the site?**

Anywhere static files may live. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that you upload to your host. Before that your AI sets your own domain in astro.config.mjs and in robots.txt.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours for good, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without a watermark.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with an English knowledge layer and English skills. The law stays German, and the pages then explain it in English.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the skills. If you want to edit things yourself, you will find the practice details in src/data/site.ts, the areas of law in src/data/rechtsgebiete.ts and the standard rates in src/data/bussgeld.ts.
