## FAQ

**Does the theory planner count correctly?**

It counts with the German Driving Instruction Regulation as of 17 October 2026. Twelve double lessons of core theory, six if you already hold a licence, plus the class-specific theory. Federal public holidays and the days between the years are left out. It is tested with worked cases, including a class-specific topic on Christmas Eve and a start across the turn of the year.

**Can I adapt the rolling course to our evenings?**

Yes. Weekdays, time, anchor and topic order live in one place in src/lib/theorieplan.ts, your own breaks such as summer holidays in src/data/site.ts. Your AI changes them, and the template-setup skill names every other place.

**What happens when the driving licence reform comes?**

The reform has not been passed as of 17 October 2026 and is due to apply from 2027 at the earliest. It would abolish fixed double lessons in theory. Once it is settled, your AI changes the values in src/lib/theorieplan.ts, and the system-knowledge skill names every place on the site.

**Are the technical details correct?**

Yes. Minimum ages, theory, special drives, test duration, B197, accompanied driving and the test fees of TÜV and DEKRA are checked against the Driving Licence Regulation, the Driving Instruction Regulation and the fee schedule as of October 2026. The guides state their date.

**Are the prices on the site legally sound?**

German driving schools must display their fees under § 32 of the Driving Instructors Act, and that also applies to prices in advertising. The prices page therefore shows the complete notice per class, with special drives split into country road, motorway and after dark. Enter your real prices so that notice and website match.

**Are the names, prices and texts real?**

No. School, instructors, prices and figures are invented and marked as examples on the page. The phone number comes from a block the Federal Network Agency keeps free for media, and the name Grünholm is checked against trademark registers, companies and domains.

**Why are there no faces in the photos?**

Photos from stock libraries would present strangers as your instructors. The images show hands, roads, mirrors and dashboards, and the team appears with initials until your own photos are in. Brand logos were left out or made unreadable.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 13 photos come from Unsplash and may be used commercially. They show no real driving school. IMAGE-CREDITS.md names the photographer, source and licence of every image, and the originals are in the project.

**Are a legal notice and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as finished texts. The legal notice lists the mandatory details of a German driving school, and the privacy page describes what the website does technically.

**What happens to a sign-up sent through the form?**

The form checks the input and opens the visitor's mail program with the finished message. It stores and sends nothing itself. If you prefer a mail service, tell your AI.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Fonts and photos live in the project, the theory planner runs in the browser and builds the calendar file there too. There are no maps, no videos and no tracking pixels.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading and every text is there without a script, the questions are open, and the theory planner shows a worked example plan. Only calculating with your own details needs JavaScript.

**Which form of address does the template use?**

The German original uses the informal du throughout, because most learners are young. The English edition addresses visitors as you.

**Where can I host the website?**

Anywhere that serves static files. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that runs without a database and without server scripts.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours forever, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without watermarks.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with English knowledge files and English skills. Statute references and authority names stay German, because the school trains under German law.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to edit by hand, most content lives in src/data/site.ts.
