## FAQ

**What is a sample strip?**

A strip in a palette shade, rolled straight onto the wall in question. It stays for two days so you see it in morning and evening light. The whole site is built around this idea, from the drawn strips in the opening to the shade picker in the form.

**Can I enter our own shades?**

Yes. The twelve shades live in src/data/site.ts with name, colour value, how they read in light and suitable rooms. Wall trial, palette, form and footer read from there. Your AI replaces the palette in one go, and the knowledge files name every place.

**Do the tools use our prices?**

As soon as you enter them. The guide prices live in the data files under src/data, the room calculator and the hour picker have their rates in their own page. Your AI enters your values in one go.

**Does the template suit a business without exteriors or wallpapering?**

Yes. Every service is a data entry with its own page. Your AI removes what you do not offer, together with its page, links and sitemap entry, and the template-setup skill describes the way.

**Are the figures, projects and testimonials real?**

No. Business, names, prices, projects, key figures and testimonials are invented and marked as examples on the page. There is deliberately no rating, not even in the structured data. The phone number comes from a block the German Federal Network Agency keeps free for media.

**Are the legal notice and privacy page included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as finished texts. The legal notice lists the details a painting business must give plus the image credits, the privacy page describes what the website does technically. We deliberately supply no legal texts, because they differ for every business.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Font and photos live in the project, map, rollers and graphics are drawn in code, there are no tracking pixels and no videos. Consent is prepared in case you add an analytics service later.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading, text and figure is there without a script, the graphics show their final state and the questions are expanded.

**Which form of address does the template use?**

The German original uses the formal Sie throughout. The English edition addresses visitors as you.

**Where can I host the website?**

Anywhere that serves static files. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that runs without a database or server script. The form checks the input but does not send anything yet, it needs a recipient before going live.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once and it is yours forever, for your own projects and client projects. You get the full source code without watermarks.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially. They show no real business, no real staff and no real sites, and no recognisable face appears next to a name. Your own photos belong in the team and project sections, LICENSES.md explains what applies.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with English knowledge files and English skills.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place via CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to work by hand, the content lives in a few data files under src/data.
