## FAQ

**Do the calculators use our prices?**

As soon as you enter them. The guide prices live in src/data/site.ts under leistungen and material, the figures of the five price calculators in rechner in src/pages/leistungen/[slug].astro, and the price bars of the overview in src/pages/leistungen/index.astro. The systemwissen skill lists every place that has to match, and your AI enters your values in one go.

**Can I drop services or add new ones?**

Yes, with your AI. The six services live in src/data/site.ts, each service page adds tables by slug from its page template, and the home page spreads them over six fixed tiles. The template-setup skill walks through every place, including the new grid of tiles.

**What is the seam on the home page?**

A scaled cross-section in which two trays are folded into a double-lock standing seam in four steps, from the upstand formed in the workshop to the second fold through 180 degrees. The geometry is calculated in millimetres by src/lib/falz.ts. A click on a step pauses it, and with reduced motion the first step stays in place.

**May I advertise asbestos removal?**

Only with certified competence under TRGS 519, the German technical rule for asbestos, and from 19 December 2026 with the approval under section 11a(4a) of the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance. The page names the certified competence and the notification to the regional authority, and the knowledge files point to the approval. If either is missing, your AI removes the statements, and a search for TRGS 519 in src shows every place.

**Why does it say defects liability instead of guarantee?**

Because five years on building work is the statutory period under section 634a of the German Civil Code, not an extra promise. Advertising a statutory right as an advantage breaches German competition law. You can add a real guarantee with your own terms.

**Does the template also suit a roofer who lays tiles?**

Kantwerk tells the story of metal, with seam, folder, metals and patina, and the services overview says plainly that the business lays neither tiles nor slate. A business with metal and tiles adds a service of its own with its AI and adjusts that answer.

**Are the technical details correct?**

Yes, and the knowledge files record which. CLAUDE.md lists every detail on seam, aluminium, gutter fall, angled seam, clip spacing, façade build-up and weight that a sheet metal worker would recalculate. Service lives of 80 and 100 years appear as manufacturer figures, next to the 50 years of the German federal valuation table. The page names the insulation duty under the German building modernisation act, in force since 29 July 2026.

**Are the figures, projects and testimonials real?**

No. Company, names, prices, projects, key figures and testimonials are invented and marked as examples on the page. All names have been checked against phone books and the commercial register of the region, and both phone numbers come from a block that the German Federal Network Agency keeps free for media use. There is deliberately no rating score.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 46 photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially. They show no real business and no real sites, only motifs without a recognisable face appear next to names, and brands and house numbers have been retouched. Your own photos belong in the team and project sections, and LIZENZEN.md explains what applies.

**Are legal notice and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as finished texts. The legal notice lists the mandatory details of a roofing and sheet metal business and the image credits, the privacy page describes what the website does technically. We deliberately do not supply legal texts, because they differ for every business.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Font and photos live in the project, the service area map, house drawings and sections are original drawings, and there are no tracking pixels and no videos. Consent is prepared in case you add an analytics service later.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading, every text and every case study is there without a script, questions and tabs are open, and every calculator shows a finished starting value.

**Which form of address does the template use?**

The German original uses the formal Sie throughout, in form messages, the consent dialogue and the case studies too. The English edition addresses visitors as you, in a plain and factual tone.

**Where can I host the website?**

Anywhere that serves static files. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that runs without a database or server script. The enquiry form checks the input and sends nothing yet, it needs a recipient before going live.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours forever, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without a watermark.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with English knowledge files and English skills.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to work by hand, most of the content sits in src/data/site.ts.
