## FAQ

**How does the site know what applies right now?**

It reads the time in Kassel, whatever time zone the visitor is in, and calculates the ten public holidays in Hesse itself, the movable ones from Easter Sunday. Office status, reply time and call-out charge follow from that. There is no server and no third-party service behind it, everything runs in the browser.

**Can I change hours, rates and the federal state?**

Yes. The office hours live in src/data/site.ts, the public holidays in src/scripts/zeit.ts. Cut-off times and rate boundaries are typed into the scripts of the contact and emergency pages, and the knowledge files name every place. For another federal state your AI swaps the list of public holidays.

**Do the tools use our prices?**

As soon as you enter them. The fixed prices live in src/data/site.ts, the price tables of the services in src/data/leistungDetails.ts. The funding calculator works with rules of thumb in its own page, the call-out charges sit in texts and scripts. Your AI enters your values in one go.

**Is the funding information correct?**

It reflects the state of October 2026 and is marked with that date on the page. From February 2027 the speed bonus for replacing old heating drops every six months, which the note below the prices says. Before going live the current values belong in there, and the copywriting skill explains what to watch for when advertising with funding.

**Does the template also suit a business without heat pumps or without an emergency service?**

Without heat pumps, yes. Heating is one service of eight, and your AI can remove it. The emergency service goes deeper, its number appears in the header, menu, footer, closing band and schema. The template-setup skill describes this change across around fifteen files.

**Are the figures, projects and testimonials real?**

No. Company, names, prices, projects, key figures and testimonials are invented and marked as examples on the page. There is deliberately no rating score, not in the structured data either. Both phone numbers come from a block that the German Federal Network Agency keeps free for media use.

**Are legal notice and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as finished texts. The legal notice lists the mandatory details of a plumbing and heating business and the image credits, the privacy page describes what the website does technically. We deliberately do not supply legal texts, because they differ for every business.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Font and photos live in the project, map and pipe network are original drawings, and there are no tracking pixels and no videos. Consent is prepared in case you add an analytics service later.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading, every text and every key figure is there without a script. The live board then shows the office hours and both rates, and the tools show a finished starting state.

**Which form of address does the template use?**

The English version addresses visitors as you throughout, in a plain and factual tone, including form messages and the consent dialog. Your AI adjusts the tone in one pass if your business speaks differently.

**Where can I host the website?**

Anywhere that serves static files. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that runs without a database or server script. The two forms check the input and send nothing yet, they need a recipient before going live.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours forever, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without a watermark.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially. They show no real business, no real staff and no real sites, though. Your own photos belong in the team and project sections, and LIZENZEN.md explains what applies.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with English knowledge files and English skills.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to work by hand, the content sits in a few data files under src/data.
