# AI Website Template Lenzhagen

> The driving school website that breaks the licence down into monthly amounts.

Lenzhagen is a complete template for driving schools with car, trailer, motorcycle and scooter, with 16 pages. At its heart is a payment plan. Learners and parents choose the class, the month they sign up, lessons per week and practice lessons, and the plan shows every month up to the test with its items and its amount, split into what goes to the school and what goes to the test centre and the licensing authority. A monthly cap moves lessons back and says how much longer it will take. Add seven classes with a filter, the complete price notice under the German Driving Instructors Act, the process in six steps with an intensive course, a page of its own for learners with driving anxiety, a team with fixed specialisms, four fully written guides and a contact page whose consultation form takes over the plan.

## FAQ

**How does the payment plan calculate?**

The base fee, the learning app and the application fee fall in the sign-up month, the theory test six weeks later. Lessons start in the second week at the chosen pace, and the special drives join in once three fifths of the practice lessons are done. The practical test follows in the week after the last lesson, at the earliest two weeks after the theory test. It is tested with five cases worked out by hand at 390 and 1440 pixels.

**What does the monthly cap do?**

If a month would go over the chosen cap, the plan moves lessons into the next month and says how many months longer it takes as a result. Sign-up and tests cannot be split. If a month is still over the cap for that reason, the plan marks it. In the preset class B example, a cap of €450 turns four months into nine.

**Is the plan an invoice?**

No, and the page says so. It calculates with the school’s prices and the learner’s details. How many lessons someone really needs only shows during training. Eye test, first aid and passport photo are not included, because their prices vary by provider.

**How do I enter our prices?**

All prices and fees are listed once in src/data/site.ts, with the plan’s classes and their usual lesson numbers right next to them. Your AI enters your amounts there, after which the payment plan, the price notice, the price table on the home page and the guide totals on the prices page all work with the new figures.

**What happens when the licence reform comes?**

On 18 October 2026 the reform has not been passed and is due to apply from 2027 at the earliest. If it changes theory, special drives or fees, your AI updates classes and prices in src/data/site.ts, and the system knowledge skill names every place on the site.

**Are the technical details correct?**

Yes. Minimum ages, theory, special drives, test duration, B197, accompanied driving from 17 and the test fees are checked against the German Driving Licence Regulation, the Driving School Training Regulation and the fee schedule, as of October 2026. The payment plan and the guides state their date.

**Are the prices on the site legally sound?**

Driving schools in Germany must post their fees under § 32 of the Driving Instructors Act, and that also applies to prices in advertising. The prices page therefore shows the complete notice per class, with special drives split into country road, motorway and darkness. Enter your real prices so that notice, website and payment plan match.

**Are the names, prices and texts real?**

No. School, team, prices and figures are made up and marked as examples on the site. The phone number comes from the block the Federal Network Agency keeps free for media, and the name Lenzhagen has been checked against trademark registers, companies and domains.

**Why are there no faces in the photos?**

Stock photos would present strangers as your instructors. The images show roads, an empty car park, traffic cones, a scooter, a trailer, a planner and hands on a steering wheel and a gear stick, and the team appears with initials until your own photos are added.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 12 photos come from Unsplash and may be used commercially. They do not show a real driving school. IMAGE-CREDITS.md names the photographer, source and licence of every image.

**Are imprint and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as finished texts. The imprint lists the information a driving school must give, the privacy page describes what the website does technically.

**What happens to an enquiry through the form?**

The form checks the entries and opens the visitor’s mail program with the finished message. Anyone who comes via the button in the payment plan finds their plan already in the message. The form stores and sends nothing itself. If you would rather connect a mail service, tell your AI.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Fonts and photos live in the project, and the payment plan calculates in the browser. There are no finance or credit services, no maps, no videos and no tracking pixels.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading and text is there without scripts, the questions are open, and the payment plan shows a worked example over four months. Only calculating with your own details needs JavaScript.

**How does the template address visitors?**

With the informal you throughout, because most learners are young. Your AI switches to a formal tone if your school prefers it.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours for good, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without watermarks. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that runs anywhere static files may live.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with an English knowledge layer and English skills. Legal paragraphs and authority names stay German, because the school trains under German law.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to edit yourself, most content is in src/data/site.ts.
