# AI Website Template Meinhold

> The inheritance law firm whose rings show who inherits without a will and how much compulsory portion is left.

Meinhold is a complete template for law firms in inheritance law and business succession, with 17 pages. At its heart are the succession rings. ## FAQ

**How do the succession rings work?**

Three rings for the first to third order of statutory succession surround the deceased. Two switches set marriage and property regime, three counters set children, living parents and siblings, plus the value of the estate. The ring that inherits stands out, the rings further out step back, and an arc on the outside shows each share. Beside it is the list with share, amount and compulsory portion for each person. The rings appear on the home page and on the wills page.

**Do the rings and calculators work out correctly?**

A legal review read every formula against the statute and tested it with fixed target values, as the law stood in October 2026. The rings follow §§ 1924 to 1931 of the German Civil Code, including the quarter for accrued gains and separation of property, the compulsory portion is half of the statutory share, and a disinherited spouse under the community of accrued gains receives the small compulsory portion, with the equalisation of accrued gains on top. Every calculator says on the page itself that it simplifies and estimates. They do not replace advice, and these notes are not legal advice.

**How does the compulsory portion calculator treat gifts?**

Under § 2325 of the German Civil Code. In the first year a gift counts in full, with every further full year a tenth less, after ten years not at all. Eleven columns show the whole scale. A switch covers gifts to the spouse and gifts with a reserved usufruct, for which the period usually does not start, and these then count in full. Further down the page a limitation band shows, for the year of knowledge, when the three-year period ends.

**What can the inheritance tax calculator do?**

It takes six groups of recipients, inheritance or gift, the value and earlier gifts from the same person within ten years, and shows tax class, allowance, taxable acquisition, rate and tax, with hardship relief and rounded down to the full hundred euros. It leaves out the pension allowance, the family home and relief for business assets, and it says so. Beside it are a tax staircase for three classes and a ten-year clock for gifts to children.

**How is Meinhold different from Treuwald and Nordhelm?**

All three are law firms in the same category, but built for different cases. Nordhelm is for firms with many areas of law and an emergency system for criminal and migration law. Treuwald works out nine deadlines for employment, family, tenancy and contract law. Meinhold deals with what remains, with succession, compulsory portion, inheritance tax and business handover, in cream and caramel with Caslon instead of navy and a grotesque.

**Is the advertising compliant with professional rules?**

The copy is written with § 43b BRAO, the Federal Lawyers’ Act, and the BORA professional code in mind. Each specialist title stands with the person who holds it, Dr. Clemens Meinhold for inheritance law, Henrike Sterzel for tax law, and Moritz Wiedtke is a lawyer and mediator without a specialist title. There is no promise of success, no success rate and no word like specialist outside the official certified specialist titles. Testimonials carry the note sample testimonial, key figures the note sample figure. Before going live you check everything against your own situation, and these notes are not legal advice.

**Why are the prices shown including VAT?**

Because German price rules require the total price for consumers. In the example the initial consultation costs €226.10, net €190, which is the cap in § 34 (1) of the RVG fee law for a first consultation with a consumer, and it is credited later. Wills are shown as a price from, succession and tax as an hourly rate, and executorship under the New Rhineland Table explicitly plus VAT. Your AI enters your own prices and agreements.

**How do I enter our firm, lawyers and prices?**

Firm details, practice areas and the copy per page live in src/data/site.ts, team, testimonials, key figures, process and glossary in src/data/inhalt.ts, the articles in src/data/ratgeber.ts and the succession logic in src/lib/erbfolge.ts. A price appears in several places, on the practice area card, in the price tables and in the contact block. Your AI updates every place, and the start skill goes through the details in four rounds.

**Can people book an appointment directly on the site?**

No, there is no booking software built in. All buttons lead to the contact form or the phone. If you use an appointment calendar, your AI puts the link or the embed on the buttons and adds it to the privacy policy and the consent.

**Are the names, prices and testimonials real?**

No. The firm, the people, doctorates, careers, memberships, prices, key figures, timeline and testimonials are made up. The site says so right where they appear, below the key figures, on every testimonial, on the firm page and in the footer of every page. Cembalostraße does not exist. Leipzig, the Musikviertel and the walks to court and town hall are real geography.

**Who is in the photos?**

Strangers in sample photos from Pexels. The licence allows commercial use, a model release is not available. That is why only the founder has a portrait, the other three appear as initials, and the legal notice says that the portrait shows a model, not the lawyer named. Before going live you replace the photos of people with your own, taken with written consent.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 40 photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially. They show columns, books, hands and autumn light, but no well-known building and no real law office. src/data/bildnachweis.json names the photographer, source and licence for every image, and the legal notice lists all names. The firm’s seal, the rings and the map are the template’s own drawings.

**Are legal notice and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as pre-written legal texts, and marked noindex and left out of the sitemap until they are filled in. The instructions list what a law firm needs, such as the bar association, the professional title with the state that granted it, the professional rules, professional liability insurance with its scope and the conciliation body of the bar. Below that are the photo credits. These notes are not legal advice.

**What happens to an enquiry through the form?**

The contact form asks for the practice area, the kind of appointment, who else is involved besides the client and the best time for a call back. It checks the fields and marks errors right at the field. It then shows a confirmation that says openly that nothing has been sent yet. Your AI sets up the sending. The form asks who else is involved so that the firm can rule out conflicts of interest in advance, because it never represents both sides in the same matter.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Libre Caslon and Hanken Grotesk live in public/fonts/, the photos in the project, the map is drawn, and no map service is embedded. The cookie banner writes the choice to the dataLayer, statistics and external media are not connected to any service.

**Are search engines and share images prepared?**

Yes. Every page has its own title, description and breadcrumbs, plus a LegalService schema with address, office hours and the three lawyers with their titles. The area pages add Service and FAQPage, the articles Article. The share images at 1200 by 630 pixels are built from a photo of each page.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading and every text is there without scripts, the rings show the drawn standard case with marriage and two children, the calculators tables with fixed examples, questions and tabs stand open one below the other, and the menu on the phone opens too. Inputs, filters, search and the emergency folder need JavaScript.

**How does the template address visitors?**

With the formal you throughout, and the firm speaks as we. The sentences that a script writes are collected in src/data/texte.ts, and the pages under src/pages/ carry their own copy. Your AI switches to the informal you if your firm addresses its clients that way.

**Does this work for a notary, a tax practice or family law too?**

The structure does. Five practice areas with a page each, calculators with a recommendation, a firm page with responsibilities, a fee table and guides carry any firm that advises on wealth and family. Your AI renames the practice areas and removes calculators that do not fit. For family law with many deadlines, Treuwald is closer.

**Where can I host the site?**

Anywhere static files may live. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that you upload to your host. Before that, your AI sets your own domain in astro.config.mjs and in robots.txt.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours for good, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without a watermark.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with an English knowledge layer and English skills. The scripts format numbers, euros and fractions in the language of the page. The law behind it remains German inheritance law, and the English version names the German statutes and explains them.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to edit things yourself, you will find the firm and the practice areas in src/data/site.ts and the succession logic in src/lib/erbfolge.ts.
