# AI Website Template Mondlauf

> The yoga studio website with a moon band that works out today's phase and the next new and full moon circles.

Mondlauf is a complete template for yoga studios with two practice rooms and fixed evenings that follow the lunar calendar, with 22 pages. At its heart is the moon band. It works out today's moon phase in the browser, with the share that is lit and the age of the moon, and names the next new and full moon circles. When a new or full moon falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the circle moves to the Monday after. The same calendar strikes the classes in the timetable that a circle evening replaces in the same room, and it sits in the footer of every page. Add “Today at the studio” with the classes of the day, a calendar of the next twelve circles with a filter, a style finder in three questions with a comparison table, four class pages with a flow bar, a lunch plan, a breath counter and holding times, a price calculator from 1 to 16 classes a month, a floor plan of both rooms, four teachers shown as initials instead of photos, moon weekends in the Black Forest, a journal with four articles and a contact page with a drawn site map.

## FAQ

**How does the moon band know the moon phase?**

It works it out in the browser, from the mean lunar month of 29.53 days and a reference new moon in January 2000. That gives the phase name, the share lit in percent and the age of the moon in days. src/lib/mond.ts calculates the dates of the next new and full moons with the formulas of the astronomer Jean Meeus to within a few minutes, and for the circles the calendar day counts. Nothing that depends on the date is written at build time, so the site is still right weeks after the upload.

**What happens when a moon falls on a weekend?**

Then the circle is on the Monday after, as set in kreisDatum() in src/lib/mond.ts. The moon band, the footer, the calendar and the timetable show the Monday, and the calendar names the date of the moon next to it. A moved circle stays the next date until the end of its Monday. If you move circles differently, for example to the Friday before, your AI changes this one function.

**Why does the timetable strike classes?**

On a circle evening the circle needs its room. So for the next seven days the timetable strikes every class in the circle's room that ends after 19:30, writes that it is cancelled because of the new moon or full moon circle and removes the booking button. “Today at the studio” on the home page does the same. The other room runs as normal that evening.

**Does the site promise an effect of the moon?**

No. The moon is rhythm and ritual, two fixed evenings a month. No page claims that it affects sleep, mood, cycle, joints or energy, and the journal article about practising with the moon says plainly what is not proven. Among the questions on the moon circles page is “Do I have to believe in the moon?”, and the answer is no.

**Can a yoga studio advertise with health?**

In Germany, yoga as exercise is not covered by the Heilmittelwerbegesetz, the law on advertising medical treatments, but advertising the relief of complaints is. The texts therefore make no healing promises, and no sample quote mentions a complaint. Anyone with back problems talks to a doctor first, and the physiotherapist in the sample team explicitly teaches yoga, not therapy. The prices page says there is no health insurance subsidy for the open classes, because they are not certified prevention courses under § 20 SGB V.

**We do not hold moon circles. Does Mondlauf still fit?**

Yes, with one decision that the start skill asks about once. The moon band stays as a display of today's phase without dates, or it goes completely. Either way your AI removes the moon circles page, the dates in the footer, the cancellations in the timetable and the circle prices. Only new moon or only full moon works as well.

**What does “Today at the studio” show?**

The home page lists the classes of the current day as past, running now or with the time until they start, and on circle evenings with the cancellation. After the last class the list switches to tomorrow. Without scripts it shows Monday, clearly labelled as Mondays at the studio.

**How do I enter our timetable?**

Every class is one row in plan in src/data/site.ts, with day, time, style and teacher. End time and room follow from the style. From this come the timetable, “Today at the studio”, the dates on the class pages, the classes per teacher and the numbers in the comparison and the matrix. Afterwards your AI checks the style finder with every answer and the cancellations on a circle evening.

**Can people book classes directly on the site?**

No, there is no booking software built in. The booking buttons in the timetable lead to the first class page. If you use a booking system, your AI puts its link or embed on the buttons and adds it to the privacy policy and the consent dialog. The systemwissen skill explains how.

**How does the price calculator work?**

A slider from 1 to 16 classes a month shows with bars what drop-in classes, the 10-class pass, the flexible monthly and the annual membership cost, marks the cheapest option and names the price per class. A switch adds the 20 percent discount on cards and memberships. Markup and script use the same function rechne() from src/lib/rechner.ts, which reads every price from src/data/site.ts. Without scripts the result for six classes is shown.

**Are the names, prices and quotes real?**

No. Studio, teachers, prices, times, history, equipment, bookings, retreats and quotes are made up. The site says so right where it matters, on the quotes, below the figures on the home page, on prices, timetable, team, moon circles and retreats, in the history and the equipment list, on every journal article and in the footer of every page. The street does not exist, and the phone number comes from the block that the German Federal Network Agency keeps free for media use. Freiburg, the Wiehre and the Black Forest are real places.

**Who are the people in the photos?**

Strangers in sample photos from Pexels. The licence allows commercial use, but there is no model release from the people shown. That is why the team appears as initials instead of portraits, and no face stands next to a name. Before going live, you replace photos with people in them by your own pictures taken with written consent.

**Can I keep the photos?**

The 40 photos come from Pexels and may be used commercially. They do not show a real studio. src/data/bildnachweis.ts, BILDNACHWEIS.md and the imprint name the photographer and the source for every motif. Moon discs, floor plan, site map and wordmark are the template's own drawings.

**Are imprint and privacy policy included?**

As placeholder pages with instructions, not as pre-written legal texts, and marked noindex and kept out of the sitemap until they are filled in. The imprint lists what a yoga studio has to state and carries the photo credits below, the privacy page describes what the website does technically. For memberships the price questions state term and cancellation, as § 309 No. 9 BGB requires. These notes are not legal advice.

**What about the moon weekends in the Black Forest?**

The three retreats carry fixed dates from November 2026 to May 2027 and appear as Event in the schema. Before going live, your AI enters your own dates in retreats in src/data/site.ts. Accommodation, full board and yoga from one provider are very likely a package holiday under German law, and CLAUDE.md lists what to clarify before the first offer.

**What happens to an enquiry through the forms?**

The contact form and the Moon Post check the input and mark errors right at the field, and the message disappears as soon as you type. Then they show a confirmation, nothing is sent yet, and the Moon Post says so plainly. Every form is set up with method="post". Your AI sets up the sending and, for the Moon Post, the double opt-in.

**Does the site load anything from third-party servers?**

No. Newsreader and Figtree live in public/fonts/, the photos in the project, moon discs, floor plan, site map and wordmark are SVG, and Instagram is a plain link. The browser runs the site's own JavaScript without a library, around 10 KB gzipped on the home page. The cookie dialog writes the choice to the dataLayer, and statistics and external media are not tied to any service.

**Are search engines and share images prepared?**

Yes. Every page has its own title, description and breadcrumbs, plus an ExerciseGym schema with address, opening hours, teachers and price range. The pages add FAQPage, Course, OfferCatalog, Person, Event, Blog, BlogPosting and ContactPage. The moon circles are deliberately not in the schema as Event, because their dates would age after the upload. Astro builds the 1200 by 630 pixel share images at build time from a photo of each page.

**Does the site work without JavaScript?**

Yes. Every heading and text is there without scripts. The moon band then explains the rule of the circles in one sentence, the timetable shows all seven days and states the cancellations as a note, “Today at the studio” shows Monday, the style finder shows all four recommendations, the questions are open and the calculator shows its result for six classes. The menu on the phone opens too. Moon phase, dates, filters and sliders need JavaScript.

**How does the template address visitors?**

With the informal you throughout, and the studio speaks as we. The sentences of the components and scripts live in src/data/texte.ts and src/data/site.ts, and the pages in src/pages/ carry their own text. Your AI switches to the formal form if your studio uses it.

**How is Mondlauf different from Strandkamille and Kornrose?**

All three are yoga studios with a timetable and a price calculator. Strandkamille answers the question about the next class from now and knows the beach season, Kornrose leads to the right style with its style finder. Mondlauf answers the question of when the next new or full moon evening is, and plans the timetable around those evenings.

**Does this work for pilates, meditation or sound evenings too?**

Yes. Styles, timetable, rooms, team and prices carry any studio with fixed classes. Your AI renames styles and rooms, rewrites the class pages and turns the moon circles into other fixed evenings or removes them. Pilates and back classes come with their own wording limits, which the copywriting skill knows.

**Where can I host the site?**

Anywhere static files may live. Astro builds the site into a folder of finished HTML that you upload to your host. Before that, your AI sets your own domain in astro.config.mjs and in robots.txt.

**Do I own the template?**

Yes. Pay once, yours for good, for your own projects and client projects. You get the complete source code without a watermark.

**Is the site included in English too?**

Yes. In the English package the whole website is in English, with an English knowledge layer and English skills. The scripts format dates, numbers and euros through the browser in the language of the page, so no month names sit in the code.

**Do I need programming skills?**

No. You tell your AI in the project folder what should change, and it finds the place through CLAUDE.md and the seven skills. If you want to work on it yourself, you find styles, timetable, team, prices and journal in src/data/site.ts and the moon calculation in src/lib/mond.ts.
