  1. 1

    Create an API key

    Open Settings, then Developers, and create a key with the scope bookings. Keep it on your server, never in the browser.

  2. 2

    Install the client

    The client works in every runtime with fetch.

    terminal
    npm install @atlas-example/client
  3. 3

    Create your first booking

    Send a service, a start time and a customer. Atlas answers with the booking and its confirmation link.

    book.js
    import { Atlas } from '@atlas-example/client'; const atlas = new Atlas(process.env.ATLAS_KEY); const booking = await atlas.bookings.create({  service: 'svc_haircut',  starts: '2026-10-24T15:00:00+02:00',  customer: { name: 'Lena Brandt', email: 'lena@example.com' },});
  4. 4

    Listen for changes

    Add a webhook for booking.updated, so your system knows when a customer moves or cancels.
