Three walks that start at a tram stop

No car, no parking, just get off and start walking.

  1. 1. Along the river to the old mill

    Flat all the way, shaded in summer and with three benches facing the water. The mill sells coffee on weekends.

    Tip. Walk it against the current in the morning, the light is behind you.

  2. 2. Up the vineyard steps

    312 steps between the vines and a view over the whole valley at the top. Short, but it counts.

    Tip. The steps are steep and wet after rain, good shoes help.

  3. 3. Through the harbor to the lighthouse

    Past the fish market, the old cranes and the ferry pier, then out on the breakwater to the red lighthouse.

    Tip. Go before ten on Saturdays, when the market is still busy.
