Analytics screens turn raw events into answers, how many came, where from, what they did and whether it is better than last month. The two components here cover the daily look at the numbers and the report someone builds for a meeting, both drawn with the charts of the kit.
Analytics overview has an overview with five figures, sparklines and the period before as a dashed line, a realtime view with an event stream, conversion and retention with a funnel per segment and a cohort heatmap, the audience by device, country, language and hour, and a period comparison that reads every change as better or worse. Report builder starts from a table report with groups and totals, draws a chart report from any measure, joins conditions in AND and OR filter groups, schedules and shares reports and offers templates to start from.
Put the one figure that matters most first and let the rest support it. Always show the period before next to a number, a value without a comparison says little. The components read your figures as plain rows, so any tracking or database you use can feed them.
